Illinois Stories Bus Tour Recap

On Thursday, May 29th, a group of about 30 travelers joined Illinois Stories host Mark McDonald and left from Quincy to visit several sites from past Illinois Stories episodes. These stops included: The Kibbe Conservation Area in Warsaw, Illinois where we explored WIU's biology work and learned about their many wildlife and nature studies, The Hamilton Threshers and the many historic buildings and tractor collection located there, lunch at The Hawkeye, the Keokuk Dam exhibition, and the Carthage jail and courthouse, rich with Mormon history.

A program recapping the day will air on Thursday, June 12, at 7:30 PM, Friday, June 13 at 6:30 PM, and Wednesday, June 18 at 6:30 PM.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this event. We hope you'll join us again!
