Fireworks at Pasfield House Fundraiser

On Friday, July 4, Tony Leone, owner of Pasfield House in downtown Springfield, hosted a fund raising evening for Network Knowledge. For the price of a ticket, the attendees could enjoy free food, atmosphere and fireworks! All proceeds went to support the educational programming on Network Knowledge. Despite some afternoon showers, the 2008 WSEC Golf Scramble went off without a hitch! On Thursday, May 15, well over 100 golfers turned out for a day of fun on the Rail Golf Course in Springfield. Special thanks to Maldaner's Restaurant in Springfield for providing boxed lunches and to Hickory River Smokehouse for providing dinner. Everyone went home with a raffle prize and after all the bids were in, several lucky winners took home their treasures from the silent auction. WSEC would like to thank all of the in-kind donations and the sponsoring businesses for their support. The proceeds help to benefit children's educational programming.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Network Knowledge has a variety of opportunities for our members, viewers and the general public to have fun, meet people and get involved. Throughout the year, this station hosts several special events such as our Fun Time Stations, the golf scramble and local pledge drives which all help to support quality, educational programming for all citizens of west central Illinois and northeast Missouri.
