WQEC Fun Time Station
The 2008 Quincy Fun Time Station event was held on Saturday, November 8th at the Oakley Lindsay Civic Center. Our Quincy area viewers have always come out to support us in record numbers and this year was no exception! It proved to be a fun-filled day for all featuring local entertainment groups, a bounce house, games, hand-on activities, tatooing and face painting, lots of balloons, an animal exhibit, PBS store, concessions and more! Proceeds help to benefit children's educational programming at WQEC/PBS Quincy. Special thanks to our major sponsors, Adecco, Quincy University, Adams Simmetry and County Market for helping to make this day a success. Stay tuned throughout the year for details on upcoming special events and next year's WQEC Fun Time Station. |
