Cardia helps you understand what's good and bad by bringing you the doctors that see it everyday. Hosted by Mark McDonald and Dr. Gregory Mishkel. Gregory Mishkel, MD, is an Interventional Cardiologist with Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants, Ltd in Illinois. Dr. Mishkel also serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Southern Illinois Univeristy. He has expertise in both coronary and peripheral percutaneous interventions. Dr. Mishkel's breadth of practice involves aneurysm repairs, PFO and ASD closure, alcohol ablation, carotid stenting, valvuloplasty as well as more routine coronary interventions. He has also presented to FDA panel charged with investigating drug eluting stent safety, as well as having presented his research findings at both national and international meetings. Dr. Mishkel is also involved in new device studies and is a consultant for many companies in the device industry. |
