In addition to our series, we also produce specials on a variety of topics. Some of our recent specials are listed below.

Building Stories- This walking tour of downtown Springfield takes a look at some of the areas more historic and architecturally significant buildings. Guest Anthony Rubano from the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency talks wtih host Dave Leonatti.

Downtown Eats- Taped at the farmer's market in downtown Springfield, celebrity chef Michael Higgins talks food while preparing some unique dishes with host Becky Cramblit.

From Churchill's Cabinet War Rooms to a historic site left in time, host Becky Cramblit takes you to some of the lesser-known places on the island.

Kitchen & Bath Showcase- Taped at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in Chicago, host Becky Cramblit takes a look at some of the new and innovative products for your home.


Making Conversation- People and events from central and western Illinois tell their own stories.

And some of our specials since 2000:
A Tapestry Torn- A Holocaust survivor, the daughter of survivors and grandson of a survivor share their life stories and experiences about how the Holocaust affected their lives.

Talking Through History- Ten high school students discuss the Holocaust and racism with host Ali Kawa.

Springfield Mayoral Debates- The only station to broadcast both a primary and general debate between the candidates.

Politics & Policy- This three part series, presented by the University of Illinois at Springfield, focused on topics ranging from the budget to the death penalty and featured panels consisting of politicans, journalists and others.

 North of New Orleans- An Evening of Jazz with the Jane Hartman Trio
