Positions Currently Available:

Network Knowledge, the community-licensee of public television stations WSEC (Springfield/Jacksonville), WQEC (Quincy) and WMEC (Macomb) is seeking a creative media professional with significant experience in television production. The ideal candidate can develop with intelligence, creativity and an aesthetic "eye" video content of substance packaged with the flare of a marketing agency, and experience managing and working with producers, directors and production crews a must. This energetic team player will be in constant communication with management to achieve the vision, mission statement and goals of the organization. Proven excellent technical skills and development of content for broadcasting, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter and public media required. Must have a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in producing programs, including in-studio directing of programs. Must be familiar with public television and passionate about its program quality. Responsibilities include on-air PBS programming and station break switching, operation of multiple computers with specialized software applications, videotape machines and many other miscellaneous pieces of electronic equipment. Detailed record keeping of all activities and a high level of concentration is necessary in a multitasking environment. Applicant must be a very responsible, self-motivated and a quick learner. Previous broadcast experience a plus. Successful applicant must be a problem solver and a team player. Applicant must be eligible to work in the United States.
